Some of us live
in our motorhomes full time and
some part time.
It is our intention here to provide whatever
you our members and future members would
like.
For members of
the Chapter we offer up to date
information about the activities of the
Chapter.
For potential new members we offer an insight
into the special nature of life on the
road.
There are some topics about which we have
gathered together information and opinions
provided by members of the Chapter and there
are some links to other useful
sites.
There are also
buttons on the left of each page which
will take you to different parts of the
site. Some have sub-directories which
will appear if you hold your mouse
pointer over the button. Each highlighted
word or phrase will take you to that
topic or site.
While each of us has a different agenda, as can
be seen from the interviews
elsewhere on this site, there
tends to be a common thread in our individual
ways of going about it.
Highway Wanderers have a different lifestyle
from those motorhomers who use their vehicles
for weekending, holidaying, or tripping.
We're not on holiday. We're not tourists. While
we are on the road, we're living our whole life
in our motorhomes. Some days we may do nothing
just as we did when we lived in a house.
When we find ourselves in a place, we don't
have to see everything. We generally assume we
will be coming back, however far it is from
anywhere else.
Rather than visiting different places, we are
living wherever we happen to be at the
time.
We have conciously given up our previous
lifestyle hoping for, and expecting, a
different kind of life experience.
Deadlines are to be avoided as far as possible.
Decisions about staying or going, about which
direction to head, about how fast we want to
go, can be made each day.
Obviously, we still have family connections and
friends, some of us have houses or even
businesses to worry about, but the lifestyle is
about living for the
day.
Please enjoy and offer up comments or

members.
