A Ruby Gem
A glass of wine, on slender
stem,
glowing there a ruby
gem
As sunbeams through window
pane
That hidden jewel is set a
flame
Sunlight trapped within
each
sphere
Released at vintage every
year
From the grape, the fruit
of vine
To the glass,
the glass of
wine
